When to Start Sleep Training, and What In-Home Sleep Training Looks Like
When to start sleep training, what our in-home sleep training plans include, what they cost, and how we keep safe sleep at the center of every night.
By Karen, Certified Postpartum Doula
We sleep train babies and children after 6 months old, in your home or by video. Here is how it works and what it costs.
When to start sleep training
After 6 months old. In the newborn weeks, the focus is on feeding, safe sleep and gentle routines. Our overnight doulas start those routines from the first night, which can mean less sleep training later. See what to expect from newborn sleep.
What in-home sleep training looks like

Want help with bedtime too? Bedtime hours can be added to the beginning of any night.
Safe sleep, always
We follow the ABCs of safe sleep: baby sleeps Alone, on their Back, in a Crib or bassinet.

What families say
I can not recommend Cayla highly enough. From the first night, it was clear that she was very knowledgeable about infant sleep patterns and gentle sleep training methods. She gave us a customized sleep plan to follow and was clear and thorough with her guidance.
Cayla was warm and professional and her calm demeanor and genuine care for our family made all the differences. I would encourage any parent struggling with their child’s sleep to work with her.
