We worked with Katie and Cayla for the first six weeks postpartum, five nights a week, and from my very first phone call with Katie, I could tell we would be in great hands and really knew how to care for newborns. They came the very first night we were home from the hospital and got us much-needed sleep, working with me on how I wanted to balance bottles versus feeding in our bed. They were so organized and communicative. I never felt like I was left guessing about how a night went, so on the two nights a week we didn't have them, we knew what to expect and what to do. By the end of the six weeks, our baby was only waking up once, and that was near 5am! Most of all what I learned is even if the baby is

sleeping well, the peace of mind having help at night eliminates any of the sundown scaries, which really allowed me to connect with my baby and be my best self during the day.
We had an amazing experience Cayla! I contacted her when my baby was 4 weeks old because she was waking up every hour and I was getting almost no sleep. They responded immediately and Cayla was able to start the following week. Getting a solid night of sleep even just twice a week made such a difference for our whole family! Cayla made us feel comfortable, and we knew our baby was in great hands with her. After 4 weeks of working with Cayla, our baby went from waking every hour to doing 3-4 hour stretches. I would highly recommend Cayla to anyone needing some extra sleep support during postpartum!
I can not recommend Cayla highly enough. From the first night, it was clear that she was very knowledgeable about infant sleep patterns and gentle sleep training methods. She gave us a customized sleep plan to follow and was clear and thorough with her guidance.
Cayla was warm and professional and her calm demeanor and genuine care for our family made all the differences. I would encourage any parent struggling with their child’s sleep to work with her.
Cayla was wonderful and helped us all get good sleep in our early newborn days. Highly recommend!
This organization is amazing. Not only did they ensure that we were getting ample sleep every night, they also sleep trained our son in the process, so by the time they finished, our little guy was sleeping through the night to about 7 AM every morning. The three providers that were taking care of our son were some of the sweetest and most professional caregivers we could've asked for. That made it so much easier leaving our son in their care every night. Having three caregivers on rotation was also a relief to know that there would always be someone available if one of them had to unexpectedly cancel, like for an illness.
My wife and I learned so much from them to, from tips and tricks to managing our baby's

wide range of emotions, to even providing a great service pre-birth to help us get so m setup with everything we need to be successful parents. I can't recommend this team enough. They are the best and worth every penny.
Cayla cared for my newborn several nights a week and those were wonderful nights. I completely trusted her and I was able to get a full night sleep. This made such a difference as I also have two toddlers. Having more rest made the whole newborn experience so much more enjoyable. Highly recommend
Katie was hugely helpful for our family! My baby was my second, and Katie bridged the key time in the afternoon through dinner time. She is very knowledgeable about newborn care; I knew that my baby was well cared for while I took care of myself, dinner, and my older kid. When I needed to nurse the baby she stepped in and played with my older kid, who was also adjusting to our new family situation! Katie was also (importantly) very easy to talk to, and seamlessly fit in with all the particulars of our house and routine. She remembered things that me and my older kid said and followed up with them later (for example, my older kid is very into flowers, and Katie shared info about the flowers growing in her own

garden, bringing a few for a bouquet, much to my kid's delight). Katie was magic at getting a cranky baby to nap. When I needed a nap, she would watch both the baby and my older kid at the same time as well. I highly recommend Katie to help your family with the newborn adjustment!
We are first time parents and Katie helped us with night nursing our newborn. In addition to providing excellent care for our newborn, she was helpful beyond that with everything from laundry to providing great guidance on what types of bottles to buy, how to manage life as new parents, etc. She's light hearted and has a great sense of humor, which was much needed during this chaotic time. We unequivocally reccomend her!
Katie was so lovely to work with - she made us feel completely taken care of and we had absolute confidence in her ability to help our baby through the night. She offered a lot of helpful suggestions and I would definitely recommend her for other families.
Katie helped us for a night when our doula was out of town. She was a great communicator, arrived early the night of to discuss our care plan, and was very knowledgeable. She did a great job with our <1 month old daughter and helped out with the baby dishes and cleaning the pumping equipment. She also provided some useful advice on getting our baby down in her crib (double swaddle has been a game changer!) and provided some sleep and parent resources. Would definitely recommend!
Kim provided us with overnight support after the birth of our second child. She was knowledgeable, kind, and always available to answer questions that we had. With her help our child quickly began sleeping through the night which in turn has given her parents much needed rest. Thank you, Kim!
We can put say enough good things about Kim. From the first time we met, she has been a wealth of information for us and our infant son. She checks in between scheduled shifts and always is happy to provide insight or wisdom where she can. Our son was comfortable immediately with her, and she truly has been so impactful in our parenting journey. We highly recommend Kim and think she is such an excellent doula, as well as excellent person!
Mackenzie was our postpartum doula for 3 months after the birth of my second baby and I would highly recommend here. She was clearly very experienced, confident, and a calming presence. I was nervous to trust someone with my newborn baby, but within the first few minutes of meeting Mackenzie I knew that I could trust her. She was always on time, communicated clearly, and was more than capable of caring for my baby. She also helped around the kitchen and with our 2 year old when needed, and even took our dog on walks with our baby! She gave helpful suggestions regarding feeding difficulties and was always nonjudgmental when discussing breastfeeding vs formula feeding. She was flexible with scheduling and timing

when our needs evolved over our times with her as well. Our family loved working with Mackenzie and would definitely work with her again and recommend her to other families!
Lauren and Mackenzie were a wonderful addition to our postpartum team. After brining home baby number 3, being able to trust someone else to provide care overnight was invaluable. Additionally, the support we received in the morning allowed us to calmly start our day with our older children. I appreciated that both Lauren and Mackenzie were happy to follow our routines, but also provided gentle suggestions for both me and the baby. They were dependable and I appreciated the consistency with only two providers. We had a positive experience overall!
Having worked with dozens of families, Jen brings a wealth of experience and knowledge that was evident from the first interaction. We were recommended to her by family friends, and having her help us with our newborn son was a game changer. We felt so comfortable knowing our baby was in such great hands at night while I was able to recover from a c-section. My husband and I would recommend Jen to any of our friends or anyone needing nighttime help with their baby.
We had an incredible experience with Katie for overnight care! She is incredibly skilled at soothing and caring for babies, but what truly sets her apart is how deeply thoughtful she is with the whole family. She was always looking for ways to support us, from offering extra hours when we needed the sleep to sweet personal gestures—like bringing dessert for my dad on his birthday. She seamlessly handled overnight care, bottle and pump washing, and morning routines, always going above and beyond. We are so grateful for Katie’s warmth and dedication!
I loved having Katie as our day doula for a few sessions while I triple feed, she helped me brainstorm things to help me take care of baby, and it was so nice to have her company, she is a great doula!
We cannot say enough good things about this company! Kim is truly a fantastic doula, a wealth of knowledge and has helped us feel much stronger and more confident taking care of our son. Rebecca is another fantastic doula and always offers to help with tasks beyond just taking care of our son. You are in great hands with this company, and Karen is excellent at pairing doulas with families!
Katie helped us as a night doula with our newborn baby girl and we are so grateful that she did! As first time parents, we were inundated and exhausted in those early days but when Katie showed up she brought levity, kindness and a willingness to help in any capacity. Katie cares deeply about the well being of post-partum mothers and she goes above and beyond in effort to lighten the load. Thanks Katie!
My family highly recommends Jennifer as a doula and caregiver. She cared for our child on several occasions over the past year and was consistently warm, dependable, calm, and attentive. She created a comfortable environment for both our baby and our family, and we always felt confident leaving our child in her care.
We especially appreciated her support during a period when our baby was very fussy. She was patient, compassionate, and unfazed by the extra care and soothing our baby needed.
We would gladly work with her again and would recommend her to any family looking for compassionate and trustworthy support.
We worked with Jen one night with our newborn. She was attentive and took detailed notes so that we coukd tweak her feeding/napping schedule to help with fussiness. I got great sleep that night knowing our baby was with Jen!
Kim was a truly wonderful doula in our postpartum period! She is a straightforward, honest, funny, thoughtful, and kind person - all qualities that serve her role as a doula well. She is incredibly knowledgeable and resourceful when it comes to all things babies. She went above and beyond to help answer questions we had if she wasn't sure of the answers, and was supportive of our care for our baby in so many ways beyond the scope of her work. She is clear, communicative, and reliable, and on top of that is a fun person to spend time with - she was a great and grounding presence to have as I navigated postpartum, and I fully trusted my baby in her care. We miss her!
Katie was a huge support during our first few weeks as new parents. She was attentive to our needs, helped with laundry and dishes, made sure I was eating, and regularly checked in on how I was doing postpartum. She was wonderful at settling our baby, which allowed me to get longer stretches of sleep. She clearly loves babies and shared helpful tips that were valuable as first-time parents. I recommend Katie if you're looking for reliable, compassionate overnight support.
Allison was amazing and we cannot recommend her enough. She was able to pitch in and help out when our daughter arrived a bit earlier than expected, and immediately put us at ease as we handled those chaotic first few days home from the hospital. She was wonderful with the baby, who immediately warmed up to her. She was also great at caring for the whole family - checking in on my postpartum recovery, giving us both helpful tips on how to care for a newborn, and generally making our lives easier. Any family with a newborn would be lucky to work with her!
We worked with Kim for about two months, starting when our son was about 3 weeks old. Her nighttime support was so helpful as we worked through the newborn phase. We were dealing with some feeding issues early on, and Kim was great about following our guidance for the plan each night, assisting with soothing and sleep while we were searching for the source of my son's discomfort. Kim's support was so helpful to us in the early days - we would definitely recommend her for postpartum support!
Allison was our night nurse for the first two months of our daughter’s life, starting when our daughter was just one week old. From the very first night, we felt completely at ease with her. She was wonderfully attentive to Franny and incredibly reassuring to us as new parents adjusting to life with a newborn.
When I was breastfeeding, she always brought Franny to me right on time and picked her up again as soon as I was finished, which made every night feel smooth and supported. When I wasn’t breastfeeding, we felt absolutely safe knowing Franny was in her care—she truly treated her as if she were her own.
Allison also looked out for me in ways I didn’t even know I needed: refilling my water bottle, making

sure I was hydrating, cleaning my pumps and storing milk, and ensuring I had everything I needed to get through those exhausting early weeks.
Beyond the hands-on care, she was an invaluable resource. She provided guidance and helpful tools for feeding and sleep, and she answered every question we had with patience and expertise. By the time she finished with us, Franny was sleeping well independently in her crib and bassinet, which made the transition out of newborn nights so much easier.
We are truly grateful for Allison’s support and care. She made an overwhelming period feel manageable, and we can’t recommend her highly enough.
So lucky to work with Katie for baby #2! We worked with Katie as an overnight postpartum doula over the first 10 weeks with our second baby. Katie was so lovely to work with and brought an amazing mix of care, wisdom, cheerleading, and humor to the long nights those early weeks with a newborn. We always knew our baby was in great hands with Katie overnight and baby girl absolutely loved her. She also took such great care of me in those early days, making me snacks and tea during overnight nursing sessions, helping with dishes and laundry, and checking in on my health and mental health with a never judgmental listening ear. She offered so much wisdom from her time caring for babies and her own experience as a

mom but also sourced advice from her network of other doulas when I had specific questions about lactation issues, etc. She checked in between sessions and was always available for a question, a vent, or to celebrate big and small milestones with me as I navigated being a mom of two. We feel so lucky to have worked with Katie!
I truly don’t know what we would have done without Katie. She joined our new family of 5's chaos when our newborn daughter, Campbell (“Cami”), arrived and somehow managed to make those first six weeks not just survivable — but actually enjoyable. Katie has an incredible ability to anticipate what both Cami and I needed before we even said it. She was so attentive and diligent when it came to caring for us. But what stood out most was how she didn’t just stop there — she jumped right in to help with our toddlers too, all with patience, warmth, and humor. Katie went so far above and beyond what I ever expected. She helped make us breakfast, unloaded dishwashers, chopped veggies like a seasoned chef, folded

endless piles of laundry, and somehow managed to make me laugh through the exhaustion. She has this amazing proactive “go-get-’em” energy that fills the whole house, and her positive attitude and funny humour is absolutely contagious. Most importantly, Katie looked out for me — not just as a new mom, but as a person navigating those blurry, emotional, high anxiety days. She checked in on me, encouraged me, and helped me take care of myself, too. If you’re lucky enough to have Katie in your life, hold on tight — she’s one of a kind. Our family adores her and we’ll be forever grateful for her love, humor, and all-around superhuman energy during those first precious weeks with baby Cami. Thank you Katie <3
I worked with Kim after the birth of my second child for overnight support and cannot recommend her enough! From the beginning, Kim proved to be reliable, consistent and someone I very quickly trusted with my baby. She gave great advice and perspective on baby care without applying pressure or judgement, and always prioritized safety. Kim is a very kind and caring person, and a strong communicator. Kim would often reach out to check up on me even on days she wasn't coming over. She also went above and beyond to lend me some diffeeent swaddles to try out before purchasing. I would highly recommend Kim to any parents looking for support!
Kim was my postpartum doula after having my first baby. So, I was new to a c-section delivery and newborn stage. Kim assisted a couple hours during the day, which gave me an opportunity to ask her all the questions I had. She was confident and knew all the answers to my questions. I realized after that, having her as the overnight doula would be more beneficial for me. She helped me so much with our baby boy. I was afraid, he would be super fussy, but she was good with him. She insisted I stay in bed and pump to make my life easier, but it was hard to pump in bed. She kept detailed notes that she provided me in the morning. Kim helped us out one Sunday, so my husband and I can celebrate a friend's

birthday. I'm super comfortable with Kim taking care of our baby. We communicated via texts and was always available if I had any questions. I would recommend her to any family that's looking for help during this new phase of life.
I had a fantastic experience working with Katie as an overnight doula for my newborn! I was able to sleep really well knowing that my baby was in loving and experienced hands. Katie was very respectful and supportive of our parenting choices, such as working with the snoo, to maintain consistency for baby. With my permission, she made smart choices to give baby small bottles of breast milk instead of waking me up for a top off. She also did and folded so much laundry. These things made a huge difference in my postpartum recovery! In addition to all of this help while on the job, Katie goes above and beyond to help around the clock: sharing resources (eg an amazing lactation consultant), picking up Facebook

marketplace items, and checking in frequently and offering support for the myriad of newborn and postpartum challenges we face. On top of all of this, Katie has a great sense of humor and is very easy to talk to! I would recommend Katie to anyone needing help with a newborn and postpartum recovery.
We feel incredibly fortunate to have had Katie as our night nurse. Her calm presence, professionalism, and genuine compassion made all the difference during those overnight hours. She consistently went above and beyond — ensuring ryleigh was well cared for, keeping detailed notes, and helping us feel confident and supported as new parents. Her gentle manner, reliability, and deep knowledge of infant care gave us true peace of mind and allowed us to get the rest we needed. We can’t thank her enough for her dedication and kindness. We wholeheartedly recommend Katie to any family looking for exceptional overnight care. — the O'Connor family
They say motherhood is one of life’s greatest joys. And it is—but what people don’t often talk about is how incredibly hard those first weeks and months can be. After 9 months of physical changes, a challenging birth (whether natural or c-section—both take a toll), your baby finally arrives… and yet, instead of soaking up every precious moment, you’re exhausted. The sleepless nights, postpartum hormones, and the emotional and mental overwhelm hit hard. And on top of that, you’re expected to care for your newborn around the clock, without any real time to recover. How can any woman truly enjoy what we’ve waited so long for under those conditions? That’s where a mother’s helper—doulas—come in. They are the answer

to a postpartum mom’s prayers: help, relief, and healing. Honestly, this kind of support should be covered by insurance for every new mother. But because society expects us to “bounce back” and keep moving, many moms go without the care they truly need. I gave myself permission to get help the second time around, and my experience was so much better than with my first. It felt like I was finally able to enjoy motherhood the way I had always imagined. I’ve always been big on gifts, and at first my husband asked if this could be my push gift. I said no. But after going through it, I laughed and told him it absolutely could count towards it—because the gift of support, healing, and peace of mind was priceless. If you’re a new mom, give yourself the chance to truly enjoy this time. You deserve it. Also, Karen, the owner was incredibly supportive, responsive, and flexible. She made the process of trusting someone with our newborn possible. The doulas she sent: Jen and Chloe, were absolutely caring, kind, and loving towards our family, especially our daughter and that allowed me to get the rest and healing that I needed.
We had a wonderful experience with Mother's Helpers and our night doula, Kim! Kim was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, professional and helpful. We learned so much from her as we transitioned into being parents and could not be more grateful. Working with Karen was also wonderful and we couldn't recommend Mother's Helpers more!
We worked with Kim while visiting my wife’s family shortly after our first baby was born. He was just four weeks old, and we were looking for overnight support so we could actually get some rest and enjoy the early weeks. From night one, Kim made a big difference — we felt more at ease, more confident, and better able to soak in that special time.
She was incredibly easy to work with: warm, communicative, always on time, and just really thoughtful. She offered helpful suggestions around formula and bottles, and was great about encouraging us to loop in our pediatrician when needed. She also took safety seriously and was proactive — even reminding us to adjust our car seat straps as our baby grew.
We’d had a

not-so-great experience with a night nurse before, so we really appreciated how reliable and attentive Kim was. We’d recommend her without hesitation — especially for new parents.
It’s not easy to find someone you’d trust with your newborn. Trust is built over time and through effort—and Jen absolutely earned ours. She was truly wonderful, and I would highly recommend her.
Jen genuinely loves babies and gave our daughter so much care and attention. She used play mats, flash cards, and was incredibly engaged. At the time, we were concerned about Victoria’s weight gain, and Jen worked closely with us to help turn that around. She offered thoughtful, practical advice—like trying Mylicon, looking into a possible lip tie, and even using a Windi when needed. Her focus on relieving Victoria’s gas helped her eat and sleep better, which made a world of difference.
What stood out to me most was

how Jen interacted with Victoria—not just as her doula, but as a kind and attentive friend. She spoke to her gently and lovingly, and that meant so much.
Jen was also incredibly supportive of me and took the time to talk about my postpartum journey. Having her with us made the newborn experience with my second child dramatically different from my first—it was actually enjoyable. I felt truly supported, and I knew my baby was in excellent hands.
We and our baby girl love Katie! She's an expert and experienced mother, having raised five of her own. As first time parents we also learned a lot from Katie -- everything from meal times to sleep training. On nights that Katie was with us, our little one slept well, was well fed, and we felt really at ease.
Katie is a kind and lighthearted person who was lovely to interact with when I was sleep-deprived. She took great care of my 3 month old daughter. She is very flexible and re-assuring and it really shows how much she loves babies.
Katie was such a critical part of my postpartum recovery and experience - I would absolutely recommend her to anyone seeking help in the fourth trimester. She has a magical ability to get a fussy/clingy baby down to sleep and always went above and beyond to "mother the mother" in our time - often taking care of small household things without my asking but that made our lives so much easier! She genuinely cares and loves babies so much and it SHOWS.
Katie is truly exceptional. She has been working for us for the past few months helping us with our 3 month old baby girl as I head back to work. She’s been a lifesaver. She is super skilled, deeply attentive, and genuinely caring—clearly someone who loves babies and supporting new mothers. On top of that, she’s just an all-around good human. We share the same sense of humor, so having her in our home has been both comforting and fun. I work from home, and she fits seamlessly into our routine, making life so much easier. I would 1000% recommend her to any new parents—whether you need overnight help to finally catch up on sleep or daytime support to make the newborn stage more manageable.
My husband and I are privileged to have Alison as our doula over the past three and half months. Alison has been a trusted, reliable and nurturing presence for our baby girl ever since she came home from the hospital. While she has always been happy to pitch in to help with cleaning or other home organization, her primary focus has been direct overnight care of our daughter.
Alison has a good understanding of our daughter’s needs, and is warm, nurturing, and responsive. She has provided us with tremendous guidance on both breast and bottle feeding, anticipated developmental milestones, effective sleep transition methods, and even swaddling techniques.
There are a few specific examples that I would be remiss

not to highlight:
Alison alerted us to a potential issue concerning our daughter’s ability to effectively latch during feeding which contributed to excessive gassiness. We did consult with a pediatric dentist who confirmed her diagnosis. It was extremely helpful so that we may be cognizant of any feeding or speech issues down the road and act accordingly.
I underwent surgery due to a complication following delivery. Alison was able to adjust her schedule in order to care for our daughter over the course of a day while my husband and I were at the hospital, and later during my recovery at home.
Most importantly, our daughter is happy, healthy, and thriving. She responds well to Alison, and regularly greets her with a smile.
Last, we felt it worth noting that Alison is also wonderful with, and understanding of, our somewhat cantankerous senior dog. He has recently taken to napping by the door at night, waiting for Alison’s arrival.
We had Kim work with us as a postpartum doula for overnights during the first month and a half with our first child. Kim was with us our first night home from the hospital which made the transition SO much less scary for us... especially after recieving such conflicting information from lactation consultants at the hospital! Within the first hour of her time with us, Kim instantly made me feel reassured in the parenting decisions me and my husband were making... specifically that I was not failing at breastfeeding because we were supplementing with formula. She also reassured me that my milk supply would still come in despite the formula supplementation (something one of the hospital lactation consultants had

me worried about).
The best advice Kim gave us, which is a testament to her true character, was that a mentally well mother is ultimately what is best for our baby's health. She was absolutely right, especially through my breastfeeding journey, and it was her work that allowed this to happen for us!
As a neurodivergent mother with autism, adhd and ocd I was very nervous about both having a newborn at home and having someone new come into our house during a vulnerable time. Kim was kind hearted, non-judemental, and even helped us find a breastpump, pump parts, cleaning supplies, etc... all her suggestions made me so much less overwhelmed by all the information on baby products. She helped us stay on top of our sterilizing ans cleaning of pump and bottle parts, and she cared for our daughter as if she was her own.
We cannot recommend Kim enough for anyone who is looking for support in the postpartum period!
When I was about 4 months post partum I was in need of some real support as I was battling depression in addition to being in the newborn trenches. I was put in touch with Kim through Mother's Helpers and even after the first visit I felt a relief and support that I hadn't received from family and friends since my baby was born. My husband, who was originally skeptical of hiring a Doula, was so impressed with Kim that he threw his full support into having Kim come back several times a week to help us.
My baby had been born prematurely and had been in the NICU for 6 weeks so we all had a good deal of anxiety and trauma we were managing. On top of that, he had reflux and feeding issues. When Kim showed up she

made space for me to talk about those challenges and my feelings, but she also used her expertise to make suggestions around feeding and activities that would help my son, suggesting extra floor time, different ways to engage him with books, pillows and how to practice sitting up. And she always encouraged me to contact my pediatrician and rely on sound medical advice when I was worried about more serious issues.
Kim worked with us during the day while we were both at home. My husband was back to work and I found I had almost no time for showers, self care or even eating. Kim was great about encouraging me to not only care for myself but also enjoy myself with my baby. I remember feeling so anxious about taking my baby for a walk for the first time in the winter and so she joined me for the walk. She researched post partum groups for me to join and suggested library visits, even offering to attend.
Overall Kim helped me become a more confident mother who also learned the value of self care to better care for my child. I still talk to Kim to this day and when we find we need extra support, Kim is the first person my husband and I would consider to help find relief and support. What a lovely thing for new parents!
I am so grateful for Jen's expertise, knowledge and advice as we navigated the birth of our first born in the winter of 2025. We interviewed a few doulas but ultimately went with Jen because of her background, years of experience and listening to our needs and wants as me and my husband figured out parenthood together. She was also very communicative, prompt, neat and clean.
Jen is extremely well versed with newborns and is calm around you and the baby. She gave us countless tips and tricks to help with various things such as reflux, sleeping and feeding. She was very open and honest but listened to what we wanted and how we ultimately wanted to parent. I felt so safe sleeping at night knowing that Jen was

Jen was our day doula for several weeks after our daughter (third child) was born. She was absolutely amazing! Jen brought joy and calm to our house each day she came! She helped our family in so many ways during those difficult first weeks of transition! Jen helped care for our daughter so we could get some rest in after long nights. She also helped with laundry and dishes which was so appreciated. She was a calming and happy presence in our house that just made everything easier. Could not recommend her enough!
Karen and Jen from Mother’s helpers were huge life savers when we had our first child in April 2025. Karen, the owner is extremely knowledgeable, professional and easy to communicate with either via phone or email. After interviewing a few doulas, we decided to select Jen and she was so amazing with our son and offered incredible advice and support. We felt as though our baby was in safe hands and she treated our son as her own. She was helpful, accommodating and gave so much advice and support when we asked questions or felt lost as this was our first child. Karen and Jen were also extremely flexible with our hours and dates when the baby arrived. Highly recommend if you are looking for extra support with your

I was looking for overnight postpartum support and came across Mother's Helpers — and I’m so glad I did! The entire process was smooth and painless. Karen truly listened to my needs and matched me with a couple of wonderful doulas to meet before I made my decision. I ended up working with Melissa, who was absolutely fantastic. She was always on time, responsive over text whenever I had random questions, and incredibly helpful in easing my new-parent anxieties. I can’t recommend working with a doula from Karen’s team enough — it made a huge difference during those early weeks!
I had the pleasure of working with two incredible doulas from Mother’s Helpers — Chanel and Carly — and I couldn’t be more grateful for their support. Both were highly experienced, organized, and made me feel at ease from the start. Each night they cared for my son, they clearly communicated the plan and kept me informed, which gave me peace of mind and much-needed rest. I wholeheartedly recommend Mother’s Helpers to any new parent seeking reliable and compassionate overnight care.
We hired Kim as our doula for our second child for the first 3 months. We kept in touch leading up to our babies arrival and felt very comfortable leaving her in Kim's care since day 1.
Kim was always available to answer any of my questions, even when she was not working!
she is extremely attentive, noted everything throughout the night and would give her advise on anything she noticed that may benefit my baby.
She was ALWAYS on time and never had to reschedule. It's hard to find someone who you can completely rely on.
I highly recommend her!!
5 stars or 10/10 doesn't seem to be a high enough rating for our experience with Kim. We hired Kim to help with my transition back to work and she took care of our baby from 3-5months and during every stage of his every evolving infant schedule Kim was there to help. As first time parents, her advice was timely, always delivered with care and our baby loved her from the start. We were so sad our time ended with Kim but highly recommend her for anyone who needs post partum care for their child!
Katie is so kind, caring, and easy to talk to. She knew just what was needed and encouraged me to take care of myself. Getting some much needed rest while our baby was in such capable hands made a world of difference. She offered suggestions and support to help maximize sleep while she managed all the details and logged feedings, changes, etc. Our newest little one peacefully enjoyed his snuggles with her, and our toddler also instantly connected with her. Katie has many connections in the field and is adept at providing resources and any additional desired supports. She is professional, relatable, warm, and responsive. She continues to check in to see how our family is adjusting to its growth. Her passion and

When my husband and I welcomed our second child, we hired Katie for both overnight and daytime doula care, and it was one of the best decisions we made. From the very start, Katie's warmth and kindness made us feel at ease as she cared for our baby, allowing us much-needed rest. Her confidence and insightful tips were invaluable, and she seamlessly adapted to our preferred routines. Katie consistently went above and beyond our expectations—not only did she care for our baby, but she also treated us with breakfast in bed and delicious desserts. She managed our entire family's laundry and dishes during every visit, which was a tremendous help. Her daytime visits were equally beneficial. I cherished our

conversations, which were a welcome change after spending several isolated days with the baby in those early weeks. Katie also helped us balance our time between our newborn and toddler, ensuring our older child received plenty of attention and one-on-one time. Katie quickly became a cherished part of our family, and we are delighted to now call her a friend. I wholeheartedly recommend Katie for doula services!
Jen was a huge help to our family bringing home our 2nd child.
She is flexible- when we came home from the hospital she came to my in laws because our oldest was sick and we couldn't bring a newborn to our home.
She is knowledgeable - she helped guide us through some feeding issue we had with our son, changing bottles, formula, etc.
She also helped us sleep train our 2 year old who is finally sleeping through the night.
I can't recommend Jen enough!
We moved to the Boston area and we're in desperate need for some help with our newborn baby! We absolutely loved Jen and all the help she was able to provide for our baby! She gave so many amazing tips and tricks and made me feel so comfortable leaving our baby with her. Would highly recommend!
Katie is extremely processional, knowledgeable, and caring. She has a passion for caring for babies and parents which really shines through in her work. I would highly recommend Katie for postpartum support; she's wonderful!
Katie was a great match as a doula for our family! She is a go-getter.. she is always looking to help in whichever way possible when the baby is asleep.. she also played and engaged with my toddler in spare time.. she is very warm and personable !! Highly recommend her !!
We are so thankful for Lauren’s support during the first two months of our baby’s life. As a 3rd time mom I was especially worried about how sleep deprivation would affect our ability to show up for our older two children and be able to enjoy the newborn phase of what is likely our last baby. The nights we had Lauren care for our son, we slept soundly knowing he was in loving and experienced hands. Lauren always made sure to check in with how we were all doing and made great suggestions which were always appreciated. We highly recommend Lauren and will be forever grateful for her help!
Our family was lucky enough to match with Katie as our doula in the spring of 2025. Katie helped our family adjust to a family of 5 (older boys 6 and 4) after I had an unexpected emergency c-section with our daughter. Katie's help in the evenings and overnights was invaluable for my recovery from surgery, as well as mental and emotional transition for the whole family. Not only did Katie take care of our daughter at night so we could get more sleep and be rested, she picked up all kinds of slack around the house including cleaning and laundry. She did this often without being asked, knowing what was needed without needing to be told. Katie loves newborns!! She's a pro, as a mother of 5 girls, she knows what

she's doing. I would recommend Katie as a doula to anyone, especially families in need of overnight support and support with newborn care.
As first-time parents, we were overwhelmed with the arrival of our newborn. Having Kim as our overnight doula was a game-changer. She was incredibly caring and knowledgeable, always prioritizing our son’s safety. We felt completely at ease knowing he was in her capable hands. Kim patiently answered all our questions and provided invaluable guidance during those early days. We highly recommend her to anyone seeking compassionate and expert newborn care.
Katie is an excellent doula and i would recommend her to anyone looking for caring, highly competent infant care and support for new moms and dads. I feel very comfortable leaving my newborn with Katie overnight. She is attentive to his needs, regularly asks questions and helps us troubleshoot possible issues she identifies (such as a new rash, increased spit up, sleep issues). She is committed to getting to know your family dynamic and building a relationship with the parents and child. Katie has a holistic view of her role and often sends me articles about newborn care or shares ideas that might be useful that she’s picked up from other doulas. She’s very good at keeping our baby calm, reading his cues, and

providing loving care throughout the night.
Mackenzie was our overnight postpartum doula after our third baby, and she was truly the best we've had. She cared for our newborn with such calm, gentle confidence and worked with me with excellent communication. She was incredibly supportive of my breastfeeding goals, bringing the baby to me for feeds and making those middle of the night sessions feel easy. Safety was always her priority, and I could finally sleep knowing our baby was in the best hands. With three little ones at home, that rest meant everything. I'd recommend her to any family without hesitation.
Katie has been a welcome addition to our family's postpartum journey. Available at a moments notice, she is polite, professional and has a very comforting demeanor. As a first time mom, letting the reigns go can be scary, but when she told us she has 5 children of her own, I felt more at ease. She truly "moms the mom", and helped not only with triple feeding our newborn son, but with housekeeping, laundry, cooking, and care.
I cannot recommend Jen highly enough as a postpartum doula! From the moment she started working with us just two days after we brought our son home, her support has been invaluable. For the first two months, she visited us twice a week, and then once a week for the following months. As a first-time mom, I quickly realized that while I had taken all the recommended classes, they didn’t fully prepare me for the real-world challenges of motherhood.
One of the biggest hurdles I faced was breastfeeding. Despite my determination to breastfeed, my son struggled to latch once we left the hospital. Jen was truly a lifesaver during this time. She guided me through using my breast pump and provided essential latching

techniques that got us back on track. Her expertise and understanding made a world of difference!
What stands out the most about Jen is her exceptional communication. She made it clear that I could reach out to her anytime with questions, no matter how trivial they may have seemed. She always responded promptly and graciously, which helped ease my anxiety as a new mom.
Beyond being a phenomenal doula, Jen has become a cherished part of our family. The bond she has formed with our son is heartwarming, and we will genuinely miss her presence in our home. Thank you, Jenn, for everything you’ve done for us! We are so grateful for your support during this special time in our lives.
I've met Jennifer since my baby girl was a month old. I needed to run out and do some errands with the thought that she’s going to cry her head out and be so fussy when I come back. Yet, Jennifer was able to put her to sleep, washed all my pump parts and even played with my dog. Mind blown! Ever since I have always asked for her whenever I need someone to watch my girl.
Having Jen's help was the best thing we could have done postpartum! A new baby is a big change and having an expert in the house who we could trust with our little one brought much needed calm (and sleep!)! Within 5 minutes of meeting her we knew she had a magic touch with babies. Our son absolutely loved her and we were able to learn so much!
Kimmy provided childcare support for both of our boys from the time of birth until they started daycare full time at 12mos. She was extremely invested in not only their safety, but happiness, and well being. Kimmy is a phenomenal communicator and consistently provided detailed updates, helpful suggestions, and ideas for fun experiences. She is an expert at child safety and our children bonded with her instantly. We continue to hire Kimmy whenever we can for weekend overnights away, babysitting and daytime nannying when the kids are out of school.
Kim is a great doula who offered much needed respite for my husband and I with our 2.5 month old who wasn't sleeping well. She was very respectful of our requests and always kept safety at the forefront. She made poignant recommendations for optimizing sleep that really made a difference. She is extremely caring and professional and we would recommend her to any friends looking for postpartum care.
I highly recommend Kimmy for your babysitting/nannying/newborn care needs. I worked with Kimmy over the course of one year and was impressed and happy with Kimmy’s care for my children.
She was a newborn whisperer for my daughter starting at age 6 weeks who had difficult colic. She then cared for her and at times her 2 year old brother.
Some specific things I would highlight
Kimmy is skilled with newborns. She has deep expertise and comfort and provides reliable loving care.
Kimmy can handle multiple children at once. Mine are both quite high energy and Kimmy was able to have y together for hours.
Kimmy is knowledgeable about early. Childhood development. She is up to date on a range of parenting styles

and offers tips and advice. She disciplines effectively
Kimmy is safe. She is car seat certified, focused on safe eating, manages a safe environment and identifies childproofing gaps etc
Kimmy is caring. She will get to know your children deeply and love them and their quirks in a way that feels more like an auntie than a temporary babysitter
Kimmy is proactive and creative, thinking about new activities and locations she can bring the children too. Sensory bins, arts and crafts, indoor at home bowling… the list goes on
I hope you consider Kimmy for your childcare needs!
Kim cares deeply for the families she works with with complete transparency and thoroughness while caring for our children. We trust her completely !
After a month of sleep deprivation and exhaustion as first-time parents, Lauren was recommended to us by a family friend. We were so glad we called her and grateful for all of the advice she shared as we navigated the newborn phase! Our bedtime routine was nonexistent, as I didn’t think it mattered that young, but Lauren provided us with suggestions that we have successfully implemented for all of us to get better sleep. She also assisted us with the transition from the bassinet to the crib and our daughter has been sleeping through the night since 8 weeks! We would have had a far different experience were it not for Lauren as she gave us the gift of emerging from the newborn trenches sooner. We highly

recommend Lauren and plan to request her support again if we have another baby!
We both feel very fortunate to have had Kim take care of our daughter. She was our first child and we were both having a hard transition into parenthood. Kim was a grounding and kind presence and helped us to develop a lot of great habits with our daughter that have paid off in the long run. She is excellent at fostering good sleep habits and has a way with newborns and infants that we felt was beyond her peers. We would both recommend her to anyone that is dealing with the newborn transition and needs some extra help. As an added bonus, she is a treasure trove of advice on baby equipment and safety tips. Thank you, Kim!
Jen was fantastic! She asked the right questions before she arrived and came fully prepared with a bunch of tricks to help soothe our uncomfortable baby. She was very understanding and thoughtful and was able to give us the support we wanted and some much-needed rest. She left detailed notes to help us follow up and answered questions even after she left. Highly recommend!
Jen was a huge help to me, my husband and our whole family when we welcomed our 4th child in June! She allowed us to get worry free sleep when we needed it most and helped provide helpful tips for nursing, soothing baby, swaddling, etc. We were able to enjoy the newborn phase and still have energy to manage the baby and our 3 other children during a busy summer. After 12 weeks, our baby was already sleeping 7-8 hour stretches and we couldn't have gotten there as seamlessly without Jen's help!
Jen was incredible. Very kind, knowledgeable and professional. She gave us so many useful tips to help our little guy sleep longer through the night. She was a pleasure to work with, and look forward to continuing to work with her in the future. Could not recommend her as a postpartum doula enough!
Karen was extremely responsive and helpful. She listened to my situation and was able to find a wonderful person to help me with exactly what I needed on very short notice. Highly recommend!
I’m so grateful for the support of my wonderful doula, Lauren, in helping my family get through the difficult newborn phase. The precious gift of sleep she gave us was invaluable, and she was instrumental in saving my breastfeeding journey, which I had struggled with initially and nearly given up on if not for her encouragement and expertise. As a second time mom, my postpartum experience has been night and day compared to my postpartum experience with my first where I had no support. Lauren made all the difference, and every postpartum mother deserves to have a doula like her.
We worked with Jen for overnight support for both of our children (born March 2022 and March 2024) and would absolutely recommend her services! She is very professional and clearly experienced and we felt very comfortable leaving our children in her care overnight so we could get some sleep. She had great advice and guidance for how to deal with some newborn issues (gassiness, etc.) that was useful. She also was very helpful in cleaning the babies clothes, bottles and pump parts. She was also great with our excitable dog, which was a plus!
We had an overall really positive experience with Mother's Helpers. We appreciated that Karen was able to connect us with overnight care very last-minute after our baby was born. All of the doulas were very loving toward our daughter and had helpful knowledge and suggestions with regard to sleep, feeding, and other infant care topics. Having them there overnight allowed my spouse and I to sleep soundly knowing she was in good hands. I would definitely recommend MH to others!
Book them immediately if anyone on Karen's team is available! Such a great experience. I am 4-months in and can't live without them!
You are not going to get a better person to help solve the, "what do I do now" as a first-time mom! Karen and her team have been instrumental for our success!
My family was fortunate to have Jen as our doula for our 4 month old. She's VERY attentive, goes above and beyond and pays attention to small details. It was truly a pleasure having her and we strongly will recommend her to any of our family or friends.

Jen provided occasional overnight care for our baby when she was ~1.5-3 months old. We found Jen to be timely, communicative, responsible, and reliable. She provided great care to our daughter, which allowed us to get some much needed and worry-free rest! We also really appreciated her knowledge of baby products, such as strollers and pack 'n plays and her help figuring out some bottle-related feeding challenges. Lastly, Jen was easy to talk to and never judgmental, both of which are really important qualities in a postpartum doula. We would definitely recommend her!
Jen was our overnight doula for around 11 weeks after our second child was born. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Jen is calm and confident and was always respectful of my wishes and preferences. I could tell how much she cared about supporting our family. She learned our baby’s cues quickly and enabled us to get so much more sleep than I ever thought was possible with a newborn. I can’t imagine transitioning from one to two kids without Jen’s help. I highly highly recommend her!
Can't recommend Jennifer enough! Three things stand out to me as a first time mom who read all the books and watched all the prep videos: 1. Got more sleep 2. Built a routine faster 3. Less stress because I has answers to any unknown unknowns that I couldn’t anticipate These three items are how I would summarize my entire postpartum experience so far now that I am just hitting 15 weeks. Jennifer helped with all of these three items and I am confident that without her I would be in a completely different place right now. Likely sleep deprived and a less confident person in this new life role. In my experience, having a coach who goes above and beyond to make sure everything in my house stays in order while I'm

focused on recovering from a C-section, building back my health (from postpartum Preeclampsia), and feeding/caring for my newborn; is the most worthwhile choice I could have made! My two things I would now recommend to anyone having a baby soon? Get on Jennifer's calendar and also look into the at-home pediatrician, so the first two months you can focus on recovery without paining yourself to get to/from the hospital. I used TOVA Health and they were amazing and covered by insurance.
We really enjoyed having Jennifer help us out! We needed someone who was confident and experienced and she was both! I shared with her that our baby was having a hard time with taking a bottle and that I was nervous about her giving it to him. She responded with "I've never had a baby not take a bottle from me" and it was true! This confidence really helped ease my worries. She also introduced a new swaddle that our baby loved for months. We owe her so much for our extra hours of sleep:) thank you!
Jen was a truly wonderful sitter for our 8-month old baby while we visited Boston for work. She is clearly very experienced, professional, calm, and warm - we felt at ease right after meeting with her. We could not be happier to recommend her! Thank you Jen and wishing you all the best.
Jen was absolutely fantastic with us. Having night support that we could count on in our babies first months was really important to us. Jen was someone we trusted to care for our infant and was able to provide us with the confidence that we needed sleep well at night. On top of that, Jen was also able to provide support to us, answer our questions, and generally be a great resource for us first time parents.
We have worked with Mother's Helpers for over a year now, for child care for our 2 young kids. The level of professionalism, evidence-based care, and care/love the provide is unmatched! I have recommended them to countless friends.
Jen was a lifesaver for the nighttime care of our newborn grandson when my daughter needed to be readmitted to the hospital for a week following her delivery. Jen was friendly, warm, responsible, knowledgeable and compassionate. She recommended a formula change (switching to Enfamil gentlease) which was exceedingly helpful in eliminating our grandson's gastric distress. She brought us different nipples to try, taught us how to swaddle, and kept notes on how each night went that she shared with us in the morning. She communicated us via text during the day to see how we were doing and was very responsive to questions we asked. We felt very supported and taken care of by her. We felt entirely comfortable having

Jen worked with my family in the summer of 2023 a couple of nights a week for the first 3 months of my baby's life. Jen has a very calming presence and adjusted herself easily to our family. She did an amazing job both caring for our baby as well as for us. One thing that I really appreciated
in her
, and is so important for sleep deprived young parents, is that she really wanted to optimize for us getting rest and kept our nightly conversations brief (if we initiated them) while she was open to checking in during the day if we had any questions. She was reliable and punctual.
I am so glade we found Jennifer to help with our baby during the night. She was very professional, kind and understanding. I always looked forward to the nights she would come. I felt comfortable leaving my little one in her care so I could get the sleep I much needed. She is also very good with responding to questions/concerns right away. I would recommend her to anyone who has just had a baby and is looking to get some sleep!
We had a great experience with Jen. She took excellent care of our newborn for about two months. Our daughter had some GI issues so Jen had a couple of techniques to make her more comfortable which was also helpful. She was also reliable and always on time!
Working with Jen as my postpartum doula was an amazing experience. My baby is quite needy I have to say and started to recognize people when Jen came, but Jen was able to clam and soothe our baby immediately. I appreciate Jen always planned things ahead and set up a comfortable environment that would help baby rest. She even brought all the helpful stuffs with her, like white noise machine, baby carrier and her own stroller etc. Jen also kept logs on baby's activities time and sleeping time. We felt comfortable leaving the baby alone with her and letting her take the baby out of house for walking and playing in the park. My baby was happy and calm with Jen, which is the most important thing to me. We wish we

could find Jen earlier and we highly recommend her to others for doula support!
I found mother’s helpers about seven years ago and it’s been life changing for our family. We have nicknamed the company “Mother’s Mentors” Karen has a qualified loving team that has enabled priceless bandwidth and joy in our lives. I recently told a surgeon with an infant at home that services like these probably “save lives” I hope all professionals that need to take care of others can get support from a company of this caliber. We all know children need lots of time and love. Think of it as an investment in humanity’s future.
I would definitely recommend Melissa! She was excellent with my fussy little 4 month old. She came as a night doula for us so I could go on a much needed and long planned girls trip. It was the first time I had left my baby for more than 2 hours and she was able to get her to take her bottle and sleep happily in the bassinet! Both things that we could barely get her to do on our own. She was professional and reassuring through all the communication I had with her. I would not hesitate to call on her again!
I truly cannot say enough good things about Melissa. I experienced postpartum depression with my first child, so when I found out I was pregnant a second time, my husband and I knew we wanted to set up a support network ahead of our son's birth. The first thing we did - and without question the best thing we did - was hire Melissa. Melissa's work with our family - as a postpartum doula and sleep consultant - was the single most important thing we did for our family in the three months that she spent with us following our son's birth. She was patient, flexible, and incredibly knowledgeable. She stayed with our son overnight so we were able to get the sleep we desperately needed, and gently sleep trained him

when he was ready. She made the often challenging "fourth trimester" one that we were able to enjoy with both our children and each other. We will forever be grateful for her, and cannot recommend her enough.
Melissa was a wonderful support system when our twins came home from the hospital. She had great advice for sleep, swaddling, feeding and more. My twins slept and ate well every night Melissa watched them and I slept well knowing Melissa was watching the babies! She was thorough with her feedback, provided suggestions and was always willing to provide extra assistance and guidance.
My family worked with Melissa on a few separate occasions and we had a great experience with her and feel comfortable recommending her services to anyone needing overnight assistance with an infant. My baby was colicky and subsequently I was very worried about leaving her with anyone but at the same time, I desperately needed sleep. I hired Melissa when I went back to work when Chloe was 4.5 months old. She helped us establish a better night time routine with her. She was kind, on time, thorough and a great communicator throughout our month with her. She has also helped us out with overnight care a few more times since then when my husband and I were out of town. She communicated with my nanny and sister in

laws with ease. I am happy to recommend Melissa and available as a reference if needed.
I used Melissa as a night nurse for about 3 months after having my first baby. She was so helpful to me and my husband. She showed us how to bathe our baby, gave us tips and tricks on pumping, talked to us about swaddles and sleep schedules, and reassured us that we were doing a good job the whole time.
We appreciated her professionalism and health protocols - masking and washing her hands upon arrival. I felt completely comfortable sleeping through the night with Melissa watching our newborn and it was an enormous help in the first few months.
We had the great privilege of working with Jennifer Dennis nearly every night from when we came home from the hospital until our twins were 11 weeks old, and I would recommend her to families seeking infant overnight care without reservation. I consider Jen a twin infant whisperer - she handled the nights with our two babies seamlessly. A few wonderful things about Jen that helped me rest easy: She is an excellent communicator - both in written form (with nighttime reports of feeding timing/diapering/bouts of fussiness and potential causes) and verbally (we'd debrief about the day when she arrived and then about the night briefly before she left). She is highly knowledgeable about infants, and offered

helpful suggestions when we came to her with questions about the babies. She also gave us a ton of suggestions for how to survive the nights on our own without her. She was extremely respectful of our parenting style and wishes. She really got to know the each baby as an individual and could speak to their specific soothing preferences and feeding habits. Above all, I felt she truly cared for them - this is a calling and passion for her, not 'just a job'. Speaking as a mom to a toddler and twin infants, Jen was my reliable lifeline to sanity - instead of white knuckling those early days in overwhelm-sleep-deprivation-survival-mode, I could rest at night. This sped my physical recovery from birth, supported my ability to exclusively breast-feed twin infants, and allowed me to be a more present and emotionally regulated parent for my toddler during the day through this big life transition.
All I can say is thank goodness for Jen! Our third child had severe GERD and sleep was at a minimum before Jen entered our lives. Jen is kind, loving and great at settling colicky babies. She worked with me to be able to get restorative sleep and continuing breastfeeding thru the night while my husband and I transitioned back to working full time. I highly recommend Jen!
Jen was great! Professional and respect in the home. She was eager to help with all newborn things, bottles, etc - and while providing knowledge on breastfeeding and pumping. Jen was so helpful and we'd have her again if another babe comes along! Thanks, Jen!
Jen was incredibly helpful for my wife and I. As first time parents, we not only used her with getting more sleep (overnight), but also went to her as a trusted advisor for any questions we had. She's incredibly reliable, never late, and extremely amenable. She flexed to support us in any way.
With her support, we actually learned that our newborn could sleep longer than we expected! If we expand our family, Jen will be called!
Jenny is an excellent doula and we had a great working relationship while she was contracted to take care of my baby at nights. She was prompt, often early, and took good notes about what happened during the night. She listened to what I wanted and how I liked things to be done and applied them to her shifts with me. She is very experienced with babies and my baby did very well with her. Jenny is super easy to talk to and she was open to me asking her questions about anything. I would text her every now and then to ask about tips on handling the baby (even though it was my third baby, still need help!) and she was always helpful and full of suggestions on what to try. I have a new favorite hand cream thanks to

Jennifer was wonderful! She took great care of our brand new baby over night for us so that we could get some sleep. She kept detailed notes on the baby, and we felt very comfortable with her. Thank you Jen!
